It can be complicated, but the pain can be removed

I tend to work with small businesses and individuals in and around Brighton & Worthing, some with existing websites and others wishing to go online for the first time.

You may already have a website that you feel is now somewhat dated, or it needs so much attention you do not know where to start.

I have now built over twenty sites for various people and businesses in and around the Worthing Brighton area.

Whilst design is all important, getting the site structure & navigation is the most important factor when considering your online strategy.

I start off meeting up with you to discuss what it is you want.  I then go away and draw up the "basis" of a site taking on board what we discussed, it's only then that I'll give you a fixed quote.

This initial scoping phase is so important and this is done "Free of Charge".

• What are you hoping to achieve with your website?
• What products & services are you going to promote?
• Will the site cater for your expansion?
• How flexible is it to market forces?
• Do you have dealers and retailers to consider?
• Do you want to sell online?
  
  Once the above is thought through, so the skeleton of the site can built, then adding the muscle and flesh, and finally the dressing. Which like your own clothes can be changed with consummate ease.
  
  

I now design most sites using a content management system called Modx. With Modx you can have a website that you can add text to, update images, add links, and much more, from any machine, anywhere.

It's so simple for you the client to use though if neccessary I'll train you how to use it so you won't have to rely on me to keep your content fresh.

As it's just me, my overhead is low. That means I can design and build a website at a fraction of the cost of most web companies in the Worthing / Brighton area.

Obviously the all important cost / quote very much depends on how much extra work I have to do such as writing the copy, doing photography, resizing 20 images etc etc. That said to give you an idea most sites where a client supplies text, logs and images are between £450 - £750.

Selling Online might increase the cost, but again that depends on the actual number of products!
