Time to get married! Complete website build bottom up, from basic graphics / logos as well as website hosting & domains, a complete package. Old Selden Farm Weddings

As well as the wedding reception venue site above - to run in tandem there is the Selden Farm Bed & Breakfast site.

Still involved in a very long drawn out project that is gradually begining to take shape, it's a total revamp of a fair sized site that is very much in the "90's", very very content heavy!

So have been spending a fair amount of time working with a new Content Management System (CMS ) MODx - very powerful in what it can do, but do suspect for many small companies will possibly be too hard to get to grips with, but if you need a good CMS based site then this is the way to go.

Now have a Rolls Royce & Bentley to add to the "Portfolio". Site went "live" December 09 for English Automotive .

The company specialises in the maintenance, repair and restoration for all Bentley and Rolls Royce cars, regardless of age. Cars restored by English Automotive, have taken many 'Master Class' and 'Best of Class' prizes at Bentley Drivers Club and Roll Royce Enthusiasts Club meetings over the years.

November 09

Goring Beach Huts are busy after the recent storm on November 14th, which saw various beach huts dismantled by the 70mph gusts along Goring Sea Front, so just as well as their new website went live November 5th 2009. Goring Beach Huts.

September / October 09 Not had time to update here, been a busy six weeks or so. Two E-Commerce siites, simple in integration and simple to use, utilising PayPal checkout backend which means that for customers they do not have to open yet another account on a website and they can be sure that their transaction is secure.

September Working on a couple of sites, one e-commerce with a reasonable portfolio of products and another charity site. Both should go live mid to end September.

Few projects throughout August - a site refurb for Audio Developments Ltd from an existing site that just needed a tweak............

Closer to home, in fact very close to my home, a "campaigning " site developed to counter the local council's plans to build a children's playground in what many view as totally unsuitable locations. The site is proving to be most useful in gauging local opinion by means of a detailed survey that visitors complete. www.worthingplayground.co.uk

June 18 -25th Following on from the site for Ethics Group (see below) was briefed to produce two further sites for associated companies. One happy client!

First Safe Site UK - which was another revamp and then a brand new site, incorporating branding, design and copy writing for Charlies Angels Security.

June 11th Good to get another call via being found on Google. This time a client in the security industry wanted a revamp of his existing site. So pretty well a redesign and various graphics designed and implemented. Ethics Group

May 31st Another site for a local business, Parkway Motors in Worthing - still a few more images and pages to configure. Domain, hosting etc all arranged for the client, now watch him appear on page one of Google!

May 21st Been working on charity project - brief was to design a site that can be used as a template for charity events with data capture modules being key to the functionality - still very much work in progress - Charity Site

May 8th Just launched a simple site for a new boutique in Worthing - did all design including flyers and shop fitting!

On the technical side, domain name, server space etc - nothing too fancy - By The Beach Boutique

March 7th - April 14th: Another Hard Day in the Office

Been in the mountains doing various stuff, but didn't stop the work side of things happening!

Whilst out in France carried out various re-designs for Trebor Media , and a fair amount of maintenance as show dates were amended, added and new products launched.

Plus, sitting down (finally) with a couple of ski guides that I know, to discuss how to take their site s forward www.peras.se & www.jonatanhulten.com

- now all I have to do is wait for them to provide the neccessary copy / text and photos - so we should see the revamped sites around October then :)

And whilst we were out there we kept a daily blog going, and even the dog contributed - sort of modern day postcard........

Feb 09: Search Engine Optimisation

Been interesting to see how quickly some of the recent sites (see below) have achieved Page One rankings on Google, which was a key element in the brief when designing and building the sites.

For example: Hove Osteopathic Clinic - on entering "hove osteopath" and "brighton hove osteopath" as well as the more obvious "hove osteopathic clinic" - all these searches result in the site achieving the first listing on page one of Google!

Similar results have also be achieved for both Steyning Osteopath, Steyning Osteopathic Clinic and Worthing Osteopath, Osteoactive.com

For Gripfit , a local company manufacturing secure matting systems they too are pleased with their ranking - as the site has only been live a month, they are already ranked number three on Google.

Finally, Richmain went live second week of January and already ranks number one with the search phrase "Specialist Graphic Installation"

Back after the Christmas New Year break and it's quite busy!

Prior to the festivities was working on a couple of sites, however clients (bless them) began to concentrate on other priorities so their sites were sort of put on hold; now everyone must have started the New Year with a resolution of "must get my site up" so can't complain.

Before the break a number of sites went live, most clients are local to the Worthing, Brighton and Hove area:

Airport-2-Go - Local Worthing based airport/long distance taxi company

GripFit - Another local Worthing company specialising in secure matting systems

Hove Osteopathic Clinic - a redesign of an old site, optimising the site for search engines

Steyning Osteopathic Clinic - new site for this practice

So that's three sites now for local Osteopaths in and around Worthing, Brighton and Hove, I'm actually quite adept at understanding what an Osteopath does now!

The Scooter Warehouse - Site update with new navigation and e-commerce enabled via PayPal which has resulted in sales already!
