They also needed to update the site themselves adding and deleting photos of beach huts.

After around 6 years utilising the old design for the Seasprite Sports Weather Page time for a redesign.

Strategy was to incorporate the established weather data and live streaming cam under the Another Hard Day at the Office brand.

As well as the Weather Data and Streaming Cam, the forecasts, blog and other existing pages are also now under the same branding.

In addition to the Weather Pages the Serre Chevalier Mountain Blog is now also part of the same design under the Another Hard Day at the Office brand.

Client wanted a site that they could easily update themsleves, along with the added functionality of Testimonials & News/Blog Pages as well as a series of Galleries that they too could easily manage.

The site therefore incorporates  News / Blog - Testimonial Pages so that the content is dynamically brought into the Home Page. There are individual Galleries within various pages.

The Client wanted a simple calandar so potential customers could see availability and this is achieved by using Google Calendar which has a simple administration inteface.

Search functionality has also been added to the site

The site is built using MODx CMS so words and images can easily be updated.

This was a redesign to an existing site that was very much in need of a total redesign not only for overall look n'feel but to optimise the potential for search engines to list the site when potential clients key in the relevant search phases.

All copy writing, graphics / logos and images at a cost far below what other local companies would charge!

Ferretteria is a West Sussex based Engineer and Blacksmithing creating bespoke ironwork, architectural iron work, ironmongery and general machining.

The client wanted the ability to sell various products online but was constrained by budget limitations.

His shop is simple & effective, using PayPal as the payment partner which more and more people now use as opposed to having to submit their credit card details to yet another site.

For the client it also means he does not have to store any data relating to his customers buying through his site, which further reduces the cost of implementation of the shop.

His core business are property letting agencies who he is contracted to, carrying out all aspects of plumbing maintenance. Hence the site has a business feel to it as opposed to a "yellow pages" style site targeting Joe Public.

Been quite a long while since I had the initial meeting back in Sept 2009 it seems!

Dementia Care had an old "Front Page" orientated site and had various quotes all £10k plus for a new content management site. I initially helped out by changing the existing site by hard coding new copy text and images where relevant. At the same time I was compiling a potential site design based on a new brochure.

Before Christmas a series went out on BBC2 featuring Gerry Robinson and the state of Dementia care in our society. Dementia Care Matters were heavily involved in this and it soon became apparent that the programmes would generate a great deal of publicity so very quickly we implemented the "new" design, whilst at the same time preparing for version 2 of the site based on a MODx CMS system and introducing graphics from the new brochure.

This new MODx site is now "Live" & fully maintained by the client(s).

A more functional use of MODx integrating many of the modules that makes MODx so efficient to use.

The site utilises User logins that let authorised users edit and create pages, as well as view "private" content. DITTO that agregates content as an index as shows the last documents updated/posted. JOT which enables readers to post comments and are not published till validated by an authorised user (notified by email).

Navigation is dynamic, as soon as a new section / content area is created it will automatically appear in the menu either as a new section* or as a drop down. 

In addition to the above the site also integrates the MaxiGallery module which shows images in a number of different configurations. 

And finally like this site there is a Twitter feed so if you Twitter it can be viewed using this Twitter gadget.
